The drugs companies are trying to invent solutions to tackle overweight and obesity. The market is rife with solutions which suppress the waves of appetite in the brain, or else restrict the gut capacity in digesting food.
The side effects of drugs that interfere the activity of the brain may result in raised blood pressure, chest pain, fever, hair loss, depression, impotence, heart damage and many more.
Likewise, the side effect concerning a gut related drug like Xenical is licensed for long-term use, with recorded side effects like diarrhea, unexpected fecal discharge and oily stools if not followed up with a low-fat diet plan.
The pills can only be effective with proper medical supervision, a proper diet and exercise regimen. But this may be for a short period. In the long run the benefits of having the pill may reverse.
